The hardest thing I've had to do is finding time to do interviews. On top of my own very busy schedule, the executive members of UPB have had full schedules all semester.
The easiest thing I've done has been collecting items for my research portfolio. For example at every meeting all members receive multiple papers with the tasks for that certain meeting.
Using the blog has helped me to realize what items i still need for my research and where I stand at each of our weekly blog assignments.
The blogs will help me realize what information I need to retrieve for my final paper. Knowing what information I need for the final paper is crucial to being able make my final paper the best I can.

I found 2 articles in the BSU Daily News archives about how University Program Board events have gone wrong. I think they will help me because they can give me a new aspect to my paper.

Week 10
Event Proposal, FnF, Co-Sponsorhip, The Gorilla
The Insider: From the insider I got detailed explanations for each of the terms and phrases that included...
Event Proposal- A formal way of bringing an event to the committee for voting so that it can be put into action as far as budgeting and planning details are concerned. Often contains estimated dates, times, and costs for the event.
FnF- Around the University Program Board office it is our way of talking about our Friday Night Filmworks event that we hold in Pruis every Friday night at 9:30pm. Using the abbreviation makes communication quicker and easier in the office when trying to prepare for the event that night.
Co-Sponsorship- In University Program Board we deal with Co-Sponsorships for a lot of our events. They allow us to partner with other Businesses and Campus Organizations to help reduce the cost of an event, reduce labor for both groups, and even bring in more participants to and Event.
The Gorilla- The Gorilla is a new advertising plot we have decided to try for the spring semester in order to grab the attention of students, hoping it will raise our turn out for each event. We have the Gorilla wear a T-Shirt for the event we are advertising and usually try to hand out a flyer or business card with the information on it to go along with him.
The Outsider:
Event Proposal: To me an event proposal sounds like a way to bring up a topic of about something that needs to be done in the near future.
FnF: I have no clue what abbreviation this would be but since I am being asked about this from a UPB member I'm guessing it has to do with UPB.
Co-Sponsorship: I think it would have something to do with working together at something.
The Gorilla- I have seen the gorilla at the movies on friday and the Price Is Right event that they had a couple weeks ago.

Week9
I feel that my contribution may be one that could greatly benefit my community. At most meetings they remind all members to encourage friends to come and Join UPB. With people knowing what UPB does I have a feeling that it could raise peoples awareness enough to look farther into what UPB does and hopefully get more involved and become a committee member.
